Issue fixed
This issue is fixed with Outlook Plugin Version 1.9.7265.10954 (released on 11/22/2019). You can download the current version here.

Question: This error might occur in Outlook when trying to send an encrypted mail to a person that is not yet using REDDCRYPT.

Solution: The following steps are required as a work around until the problem is solved with a new addin:

  1. Delete the REDDCRYPT Account in the REDDCRYPT Addin Settings
  2. Close Outlook
  3. Delete the file accounts.json that is locatet at %appdata%\REDDOXX\REDDCRYPT for Windows\Common
  4. Start Outlook and add your existing Account in the REDDCRYPT Addin
